Testovanie vplyvu objemového a povrchového zaťaženia denitrifikačného reaktora s granulovanou biomasou na stupeň denitrifikácie odpadovej vody z čistiarne odpadových vôd
Post-denitrification of real municipal wastewater in an upflow sludge bed reactor with anoxic granulated biomass was tested. The nitrate contents were reduced with methanol from an average 21 mg l–1 to less than 3 mg l–1 at the loading 0.8 and 1.4 kg m–3 d–1 at 9–12 and 13–15 °C, respectively. Solids suspended in effluent were lower than 37 mg l–1 at hydraulic loadings 0.7–2.8 m3 m–2 h–1. At higher loadings (3.5–6 m3 m–2 h–1) the granulated biomass was disintegrated and gradually washed out from the reactor. Specific production of biomass was 0.16–0.17 gbiomass g–1 CODmethanol.
