Abstrakt

The history-making article on fullerenes has now its 40^th anniversary. During the past four decades, fullerene research has expanded considerably, covering fullerenes, metallofullerenes, nanotubes, and graphenes. The developments are briefly surveyed.

Článek o fullerenech, který se zapsal do historie, slaví letos 40. výročí. Během uplynulých čtyř desetiletí se výzkum fullerenů značně rozšířil a zahrnuje nyní fullereny, metallofullereny, nanotrubice i grafen. Následuje stručný přehled tohoto vývoje.
