Abstract

Mass spectrometry (MS) is an indispensable tool in modern chemical laboratories. This review summarizes some of recent developments in the field. It specifically emphasizes ambient ionization, high resolution MS, MS imaging, miniaturization, fragmentation techniques, ion-surface interactions, ion mobility spectrometry and MS techniques in structural biology.
